It was a beautiful day from morning to this evening. Seventy degrees and sunny with no clouds at all. Just a tiny breeze as well. My little daughter-in-law in NH would call this "a Bluebird day". Working inside or out was very comfortable, and it is supposed to be equally as nice tomorrow. Thank you Father for a perfect day as well as another beautiful sunrise.
I started "Spring Renewal" yesterday, and I have to say that this is going to be a challenge indeed. I kept making dumb little mistakes and after two solid hours I got only what's shown below done! Just a tiny house and I still have to finish the roof, windows and door.
I finally picked up some fabric to make a pillow out of the cross stitch I finished a month or so back. This will be a gift and I'm pleased with the project. I hope it will be liked. The chart itself works up quickly and has only six colors. The first one I did, I used pinks. This one here, as you can see has lots of blue and green.
A lady mentioned, "Color Outside the Lines". She thought I might like it. Well, of course I looked it up and fell in love with it. When it's finished sometime in the future, it will be perfect in my she shed which I plan on loading with colors. Here's what it looks like. Very different than what I normally stitch, but I think it will be a pleasure working with all the flosses. Very different!
I'm happy to say that I have a new follower. Welcome Hazel! Y'all need to stop over at her blog and see her beautiful stitched pieces. She has really inspired me! Check it out at http://quietlystitching.blogspot.com/ Hazel said that she hadn't blogged in a long time, and I really hope that she starts up again soon. We all understand though..........Life just gets busy!
I'm going to let y'all go for now. My eyes are getting heavy, and I did hope to get in a little reading before I go to bed. I love each and every one of you my dear friends and followers. Stay safe, warm and well, Come back soon, and don't forget to "feel the colors".

Loved your post today Linda Lee. Such beautiful sunsets you have captured. I love the finished stitch you will give as a gift...such a wonderful thing to do. Have a wonderful week and come by to sign up for our little give away. RJ@stitchingfriendsforever
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're back. I love stopping in to see all the pretty things you're doing. Will stop in. Thanks for coming by and leaving a comment as well.
DeleteWhat a beautiful sunrise you shared! We had a lovely day here. But I'm a bit cranky because I want some good old-fashioned cold weather. Your blue and green pillow looks super. Enjoy the colors of tomorrow, LindaLee!
ReplyDeleteHowdy Robin. Hoping you'll get a little bit of the cold weather you would like. I don't very often hear anyone wish for the cold! Have a great weekend.
DeleteI just wanted to say that I love the color pictures you add at the end of your posts!
ReplyDeleteAwe...Thank you Cathy. Now when I go to post them, I'll always think of you my dear friend. Love you.
DeleteBeautiful pics, It's been nice & sunny here too the last 2 days, hoping for more sunshine today!
ReplyDeleteA very pretty little finish too.
Color Outside the Lines is an interesting piece!
Have a wonderful day!
Marilyn
Thank you Marilyn. I think it will be a very different piece to stitch. Have a great weekend.
DeleteLove the beautiful sunrise photos!! Warm here too but I'm looking forward to getting some snow!! Your Blessings stitch is lovely and yesterday I was in the same boat as you, made a stupid error and had to rip out all my work. Isn't it frustrating? Hope your stitching goes smoothly today. Mary
ReplyDeleteYes! So frustrating indeed, and I don't know what it is about this one that seems to throw me off time after time. I do realize now, that it certainly won't be ready this spring, and it makes it easier to take my time and all with it. I hope you'll get some snow my friend.
DeleteLindaLee: God is the greatest artist ever, he has the most beautiful color combinations in the sky and on earth.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to seeing progress on your Spring Renewal.
The Blessings To Thee is a beautiful pattern.
Have a wonderful week.

God is indeed the greatest artist! I cannot imagine how beautiful Heaven will be! Thank you for your lovely comment. Have a wonderful weekend!
DeleteA very unique project, and yes, it fits you well with all the colours! I hope the confetti isn't too aggravating and fun to see it come alive. Nice start as well.
ReplyDeleteI never do the grafting.....I think that's what it's called, when you mark every 10 squares with thread, but this may be my first time when I start it. Lots of stitches here and there with no particular order. I'm so glad you stopped in.
DeleteBeautiful photos Thanks for sharing! Sorry to hear the new piece is being a pain. I hope it gets sorted out quickly and stops causing problems for you. Oh I love the color outside the lines. Too cute! Can't wait to watch it grow. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHi Katie! I'm learning to just relax a little more as I'm working on the Spring Renewal. I thought I would be able to display it this spring! Shows what thinking does! LOL. Have a good weekend Katie.
DeleteBuen trabajo y como siempre lleno de luz y color. La imagen del perro me ha encantado, precioso:-)
