A Bluebird Day!

That's what my little daughter-in-law would call this day, as it was perfect in every way.  It did start out a little over cast, and it was such when I started my walk.  You can see here, the sun trying so hard to come through the haziness, but it came out just a little later and shone brightly for the rest of the day.  Since it did turn out so nice, Billy and I got a little work done outside.  Cutting things back and putting wood away that we didn't have to burn this last season.  I also did all the insulation that I

could in my shed.  I need just one more bundle of it and I can finish that up.  Will pick it up tomorrow and will also pick up whatever I decide upon for one or two of the walls.  So today was a good day.
I hope you all had a good one as well.

I stitched up another square on the 52 week SAL.  This one took just fifty minutes and was fun to stitch.  I have this weeks to do that just came out this morning, and will do that sometime later this week.  I'm finding that I really enjoy this type of stitching, and I'm glad that I went ahead and am taking the challenge.  Here is a picture below to show you the pattern on the right.

Forgot to say that when I got back from my walk this morning, I noticed one of the trees behind our house.  It's starting to bud as so many other trees in our area is as well.  I just had to take a picture to show you the small leaves coming out.  I love the bright clean green color you see here.  Welcome spring!

More of our little city has closed down.  I'm sure all of you are experiencing the same   in your areas.  Planet Fitness closed last night for two weeks.  I kind of think that before all the virus is over, that everything will be closed a lot longer than the two weeks.  The library and town hall too are closed as well as all the restaurants.  Like everywhere else though, you can go through drive throughs.  We're very fortunate in our house, as we're always stocking the few shelves we have and all.  God has been so good to us.

One more picture that I would like to show you, is a picture of our daughter's property in Vermont.  I just love the way it was taken on a beautiful moonlit evening.  You can see a star to the right of the tall pine tree.

I'm going to let y'all go for tonight.  I'm thinking of all of you and keeping you all in prayer during this virus scare.  Stay warm, safe and well.  Still want y'all to "feel those colors"

Your SAL is coming along nicely, I still have to start mine.
It sounds like most areas are doing the same thing and we are fortunate enough to have enough for our family. Take care!

Blackwork (or any colour work) always looks so elegant and pretty, another nice block added.
