Continuing On

I'm continuing on with the Spring Renewal, and am so happy to be stitching grass and one of two birdhouses in it.  Loving the colors and all the homes have windows reflecting the sun and all for now.  Will backstitch as I go along.  Just a small part of what I did today.  I'll show more later on in the week.

For those who haven't seen the finished piece as advertised.....Here it is below.

We had a rainy overcast day all day, but I still got out for my morning walk with the help of the umbrella.  Starting tomorrow, I'll bring my camera with me each day.  I'll be able to show you a little bit of our area.  Soon all the Azaleas will be in full bloom which make the walks so pretty.  Then the Crepe Myrtles will open up.  Right now, the ornamental pear trees are in full bloom.  I love these trees.  They're shaped perfectly and they're everywhere!

The Clematis I ordered came today.  I decided this time on a snow white one with huge blooms.  As much as it will spread, it should make a beautiful backdrop for some NC native flowers.  Here's a picture of the Henryi Clematis.  Those flowers are seven inches across and the vine will spread twelve to fifteen feet.  Tall as well, and they grow nicely in our area.  Looking forward to getting it in the ground, and officially starting this years gardening.

Well my dear followers.  It's getting rather late here, and I'll be getting up early tomorrow for Planet Fitness.  So I need to let ya'll go for tonight.  Thank you to all my sweet friends and followers for being so faithful by following me and dropping in and leaving your messages.  Love to each and every one of you indeed.  Stay safe and well.  Remember once again to "feel the colors".
