My Quince is getting ready to bloom also. Not a good picture yet, but once in full bloom, I'll get another picture that will knock your socks off!
Now these flowers below aren't more than six to eight inches high, and will multiply and cover many a lawn in the spring. These below are in our own yard and once of the first flowers to bloom in the spring.
I spent a good part of the day yesterday with my sister and her husband. Went to a home show in Morehead City, and had a nice lunch afterwards. It was good to get out and enjoy the company. Found a great shop with beautiful silver jewelry at very reasonable prices. Hope to go back again this season. There are many shops in Morehead. Perfect area to visit when on vacation. A little bit for everyone there.
I didn't do any stitching at all yesterday, and I may not today either. I found another pattern for a scarf that would be perfect to stitch up using some of the variegated yarns I've perchased. Just feel like doing something a little different this afternoon. Will get back to my cross stitch tomorrow for sure. Well let me show you a picture of the scarf in the pattern. Supposed to be a quick knit and work up well with the different variegated yarns. You must be able to feel these colors for sure!
I'll let you go once again and I hope y'all will have a safe and sunny day. Love y'all. Look around you wherever you might be and catch those colors out there. Remember to stop for a minute and "feel those colors".
Beautiful scarf pattern that you are planning to make, LindaLee! Thank you for sharing the beginning of blooming season! Have a blessed day!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping in Robin, and I'm glad that I can share here. Enjoy this season and stay well.

ReplyDeleteLove the flowers .
Thank you so much. Love you my friend.
DeleteBeautiful colors all over in this post!!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed the colors, Mary. Thank you once again for stopping in.
DeleteLinda, I found the pattern on Ravelry. I would be interested in knowing how it knits up for you. I think it's very interesting and might give it a try at some point.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Cynthia. I started this pattern a couple of nights ago, and it began to look warped withing the first five rows. I'm going to give it another try. I was obviously missing something, but I've been knitting since I was five. If you go for it Cynthia, let me know how you do.
DeleteAnother lovely post. Love your scarf. Beautiful pattern. Thanks for sharing your other photos. Spring is starting to peek in your area. Still been pretty cool here in Indiana.
ReplyDeleteI hope today Katie, that your day is warm and mild. Spring is to enjoy but the colder temperatures seem to linger sometimes. Enjoy my friend.
DeleteI'm playing catch up reading .... It's been a stressful few days, hubby had his heart op Friday, all well and he's home recovering. Renewal is a lovely chart.
ReplyDeleteLovey pattern for the scarf, very colourful, it will be interesting to see what colours you knit up yours.
Have a lovely week and thank you for your message to say you were thinking of me, you have no idea how much that gave me a smile that day. x
Good morning Julie. I'm so happy that your dear husband's surgery went well and is now in the past. Glad he's home and healing. It is so worrisome when our spouses need medical attention to the extent that your's did. I'll be keeping all in prayer until he's completely healed.
DeleteLindaLee: What a sweet post, that scarf is beautiful, such pretty colors.

Thank you my dear friend for stopping in and leaving such a sweet compliment. I started the scarf once and it looked off within no time. Pulled it out and will try again. Maybe I'm missing something. You have a blessed day.
