Friday Evening

Just can't believe that this week is coming to an end tomorrow.  Seems like we just went to church last Sunday, and here it is nearly Sunday again.  The week has gone well.  I've gotten a walk in each and every day and went to Planet Fitness my usual three times this week.  So far, our area has been blessed with no cases of the coronavirus,  but we've begun to take precautionary steps to guard against it.  First thing we found was that our local senior center was closing today.  Trying to keep the elderly safer.  I think about the ones to do go there on a daily basis, not just for meals but for the many activities and of course to meet up with friends and all.  I just pray that they'll all stay well and safe.  Also heard that Walmart and Target stores will have people in the parking lots trying to test everyone before they go into the stores.  So, we hope to stop and outbreaks before they start.

A few more pretties we saw on a different route we walked yesterday. This is just down the road from us, and it was such a beautiful morning, that I just had to take a picture of this bright blue sky.

Our delicious smelling Carolina Jasmine.  In some areas, you'll see trees that are covered with these vines!

Then a close look at the flowers on the Bradford Pear trees.

Grape Hyacinths.  I've always loved these tiny beauties.

Last of all, Jonquils! Another flower with such a lovely aroma.

Now, I did get to do a little more of my WIP this morning, but will wait until tomorrow to post another picture of it.  Instead! I want to share a surprise birthday gift I received in the mail! Believe me when I say that I was very surprised and happy with the gifts.  First of all.....The chart for Color Outside The Lines! I love this!

Then to go with the chart.........Skeins of all the DMC colors that the chart calls for.  How nice to be able to jump right into a new start and not have to check to see if you have all the colors first! Look how bright and cheerful these are! I can feel them indeed!

I loved the card that came with the gifts, and loved them enough to order a package of them.  Check out the package of brand new needles and even a lighted magnifying glass.  How thoughtful and I thank you so very much Charlene.  How sweet of you to do this.

Thank you.  Thank you and thank you so very, very much!

How about another freebie before I sign off the the night!
This again is from Durene Jones, and is for a bookmark! So it will be a quick stitch and I already know someone who will enjoy using it! Thank you Durene, for all your lovely charts, and for all your free cross stitch charts also.

Now.........We'll see y'all tomorrow.  You have a blessed night and tomorrow as well.  Stay well my dear friends and followers, and remember to "feel the colors".
